Kayla's First Year Photo Book!

I've finally completed Kayla's first year photo book! I've taken the text from each of my posts along with my favourite photos throughout the year and have put them all into this one little book for a great keepsake. It has taken me a year to make and I have put many hours of hard work into designing it! So I am so thrilled to finally have it finished and can't wait to get it published!

Here is a sneak peak...

Message for Kayla (as written on the last page)...

To my Sweet Bubette,

I look forward to the life we'll share, To pamper you and plait your hair,
To laugh with you and wipe your tears, To help you overcome your fears.

To teach you all you'll want to know, Like how birds fly and flowers grow,

So many things - I can not wait, From your first drawing to your first date,

Each night I lay you down to sleep, I gently kiss your face a heap,

I tuck you in and dim the light, I whisper, "I love you" every night.
A tear of joy runs down my cheek, I turn my head for one last peek,

I miss you when I close the door, Each day I love you even more.

I've loved you from the very start, You stole my breath, embraced my heart,

Our life together has just begun, You're part of me my little one...

All my love, Mummy xx

Dear wee Kayla,

I've yet to meet you, maybe one day when you're over in NZ seeing your rellies?, but I have seen lots of wonderful photographs (what a very talented Mummy you have)also taken by your Great Granma, and Great Auntie Sam, and heard all about you too from them. I have to say, you are one very lucky wee girl to have so many folk who love you. You bring them great joy, laughter and fun Kayla.

Congratulations Rae!
1 Year of Memories Published! You'll all enjoy your book forever. It has been wonderful for you to share with us your reflections on all those little things, like the pregnancy & birth, her first smile, her first laugh, meeting all the family, the shrinking bear, her cute and cheeky personality coming through and your experience as parents over the year. Having so many photos of individual occasions gives great depth in reflecting true emotion at each of those times. I'm really proud of you Rae and once again I'm inspired by your work. I know Kayla and Daniel will appreciate your thoughtfulness, playfulness and love in creating your Family Master Piece. I can't wait to see the printed copy!
Love Ev.
