FOURTEEN MONTHS OLD!

It was seriously hard to do her monthly bear shot this month! Because she is super wriggly and fast and would just not stay still! This is the best I have for now - I'll have to try and get a better one before next month.

Current Weight: 16900g
Current Length: 84cm (roughly)
Current Size: 4-5

Oh how I wish that our friends and family who haven't met Bubette yet could only see her now! She is such a bubbly little smarty pants - so full of life and melts the hearts of anyone who sees her.

She is chatting away now - not quite in full English yet but it's so adorable! I'd say every 4th word is a random English word and although her sentences don't make much sense - it doesn't stop her from joining in the conversation! She copy's our mannerisms and moves her hands while she yaps away (like most of us do without realising haha!) She sure likes to be center of attention and makes it clear to us that she is in the room. Any time Dan and I have a conversation - she yells over the top of us with her chatty babble to remind us to include her. Hehe! She especially loves to have a good yap on the phone - although when we try to get her to talk to someone on the other line - she gets all shy and silent.

She's shown an interest in dollys now and she is such a good Mummy to them! She picks them up and cradles them and says "Awwwww Bubba!" She kisses them and brushes their hair and puts them in her toy pram to push them around. She's a total sweety pie with her dollys and is very gentle with them... well that is until her Boyfriend comes on TV and then she'll chuck them across the room to run up to the Telly and kiss the screen *giggles*

By Boyfriend I mean the little red haired boy that is on the Hamper King ad - she goes totally Ga-Ga over him - it's hilarious! Here is a clip of the ad i am talking about...

*giggles* She sure loves red heads!!

She makes a very sweet little nurse too, I have been sick lately with a chest infection and each time I'd blow my nose - she'd come running over to me with worry and say "Awww Bubba" to me as she'd stroke my face and hug me. Total heart melter - although when I'd cough she'd get a fright and she'd run to the corner and hide. lol poor lil thing.

I didn't realise just how observant she is! Everyday when I feed the cats Kayla usually just hangs by the kitchen doorway and watches me (there is a barrier so she can't get through.) But lately - we've been letting her come into the kitchen (because we have cleaned up a bit and got rid of some dangerous junk we had laying around in there) so she could come hang out with us while we're in there. When I first let her through - the first thing she did was run over to the pantry, open it - grab a can of catfood (out of many other cans like baked beans etc) then walked over to the cat bowl and pretended to pour it in the bowl! And then she went back to the pantry - got the box of dry cat food to pour in the bowl as well. We were very impressed with that - because it goes to show that she is very observant and a fast learner! Who knows... maybe soon we can train her to clean the house, do the cooking and wash the dishes =P *giggles*

That is just one example of many clever things she has picked up. She is in a great routine now and understands routines very well. Before she use to kick and scream at nap times but now she lets us know when she is happy to go down for a nap. If she can't find her bottle - she'll say "bottle?" to let me know that she wants it - otherwise she will bring it to me. So I'll fill it up and hand it to her and she'll walk into our room with it, point to her cot and lift her arms up for me to put her in there. Amazing!!! It's a very recent thing that she has started doing - but I hope she keeps it up, because it makes nap time so much easier!

She is brushing her own teeth now too, although sometimes she needs a hand with it. She also likes to brush her own hair (and mine) which is very cute. She's up to the letter D in the alphabet but she continues with the tune - she sings "A, B, C, D, B, B, Beeee" and she can count to 3! We are so proud of her and we get very excited when she has a new milestone. Oh! She can say her own name now too!!

Have I mentioned how strong she is? She has always been very strong even since she was a new born, but it amazes us how she can lift heavy objects with ease like there is nothing to it! She picked up Dans tool box the other day which even I struggle to lift! It's bloody heavy!!! I don't know what it is with her and lifting but she loves to lift everything - even her toy pram which isn't that light either - she'd rather carry it around than push it around! haha! Dan reckons she'll be a champion weightlifter! lol :-S

Bonnie's a bit the same now with when Mike & I are talking, especially in the car - every 30 seconds she's saying 'WHAT are you talking about NOW?!' haha

And don't worry Kayla, I'd be swimming in my clothes too if I lived in that hot weather still too!!

MESSAGE FROM BONNIE: Hello too. Three. One.
b (Bonnie knows where the b for bonnie key is - she typed it!)

(She got shy when I asked her what she wanted to write... So she's got a funny message now!)
